Description
A dual-gauge regulator shows cylinder pressure and working pressure at the same time, which is the difference between “the tank is empty” and “the regulator is set wrong”. This one is built around a brass body with a proper needle valve rather than the plastic knob most budget units use.
Why the needle valve matters
Cheap regulators use a flow restrictor that drifts. Within a fortnight your 2 bubbles-per-second becomes 5, and the fish are at the surface. A real needle valve holds a setting for months.
What is included
Regulator body, cylinder pressure gauge (0–3000 psi), working pressure gauge (0–100 psi), bubble counter with check valve, and a 12 V solenoid on a standard timer plug.
Setup
Fit with a new PTFE washer, open the cylinder valve slowly, set working pressure to 25–30 psi, then adjust the needle valve for your bubble rate. Always use a check valve and always install a timer — a solenoid without a timer is a fish killer.
Specifications
Fits standard CGA-320 cylinders. Standard 4/6 mm tubing. Aluminium and brass construction. 12 V DC solenoid, 2 W.
