Description
Five stainless tools that cover the entire maintenance routine of a planted tank: planting, trimming, levelling and planting again.
What is in the kit
Curved spring scissors — for trimming carpets and stems in tight corners without pulling up runners.
Straight tweezers — 27 cm, serrated tips, the tool you will use 90% of the time.
Curved tweezers — for planting against glass and under overhangs.
Sand spatula — to flatten cosmetic sand and create the slope between foreground and midground.
Substrate rake — to level aqua soil before planting and to re-slope a bank without lifting the plants.
Why length matters
All tools are 25–30 cm. Anything shorter means your forearm is in the water, which means you are moving water, which means you are uprooting what you just planted.
Care
Rinse and dry after every use. Stainless will still spot if left wet. Do not use them to pry stone.
